From the age of 5, Mr. Margaryan has been assisting his father,
Dr. Alfred Margaryan, in the lab. He would often be surrounded by
some of the most renowned scientific teams in the world as they
worked on advanced laser technologies and photonics, giving him an
education that is second to none. Mr. Margaryan has played a
significant role in the development of AFO’s vitreous materials by
planning and documenting formulation data records, procedures, and
results for each product. He has worked closely with Dr. Margaryan
in developing the next-generation fluorophosphate and
ultraphosphate specialty glasses. He has over 10 years experience
in scientific research and development, product development and
management, custom furnace fabrication, and operations management.
Mr. Margaryan has co-founded two R&D companies. He is an author of
nine scientific articles and a patent.
Mr. Margaryan received his B.S. in Management from the University
of Phoenix.
